Abebe Ejigu

Abebe grew up in the Ethiopian countryside. As teens, he and his sister cared for each other after their parents died. Abebe finished high school, attended university and received his teaching degree. He worked as a teacher in many schools then came to Grace Center in 2014 as the head tutor in the after school care program. Abebe was instrumental in growing Grace Academy from 17 students to now over 200 students. Abebe is married and has two lovely boys. He says that Grace Center is “A light of life for mothers and children who hate and despair.”
