Amy Minard, originally from Ohio, had always wanted to serve the poor and orphaned children in Ethiopia. She adopted two children from Ethiopia and while receiving one of her children, she visited Grace Center. In the fall of 2014 she moved to Ethiopia to serve as Grace Center’s Director. With a degree in psychology, and her experience in founding and directing Dream Shine, a day program in the U.S. to serve adults with special needs, Amy has quickly become an asset to Grace Center. Amy feels honored to be able to serve at Grace Center but even moreso Grace Center is honored to have her.
